Veterinary Medical Consultant

Job Summary

Supporting veterinary practitioners in Poland, the part-time Veterinary Medical Consultant will provide expert telephone consultations on diagnostic test selection, interpretation of laboratory results, and case management while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Consult with customers on diagnostic test selection and interpretation of laboratory results during regular working hours
• Discuss IDEXX diagnostic offerings, including test availability and clinical utility
• Maintain and develop medical knowledge through self-directed learning and participation in continuing education

Required qualifications

• A veterinary degree with the right to practice
• Experience in Small Animal Internal Medicine, ideally with additional qualifications or board certification
• Fluency in Polish and English; additional language skills in German or Dutch are advantageous
• Strong interpersonal and clinical reasoning skills
• Computer literacy and a reliable high-speed internet connection for remote work
