Veterinary Medical Consultant

Job Summary

Fluent in Polish and English, the part-time Veterinary Medical Consultant will provide expert telephone consultations to veterinary practitioners in Poland, assisting with diagnostic test selection, interpretation of laboratory results, and case management.

Key responsibilities

• Consult with veterinary practitioners on diagnostic test selection and interpretation of laboratory results during regular working hours
• Discuss IDEXX diagnostic offerings, including test availability and clinical utility
• Maintain and enhance medical knowledge through self-directed learning and participation in educational activities

Required qualifications

• A veterinary degree with the right to practice
• Extensive hands-on experience in Small Animal Internal Medicine, ideally with board certification (ECVIM or ACVIM)
• Fluency in Polish and English; additional language skills (German, Dutch) are advantageous
• Strong interpersonal and clinical reasoning skills
• Computer literacy and a reliable high-speed internet connection for remote work
