Job Summary
Leading the global Accounting function, the full-time remote Vice President of Accounting will direct general, tax, and revenue accounting, oversee AP/AR and payroll, and provide accurate financial reporting for operations across multiple countries.
Key responsibilities
- Directs the Accounting function and assesses current operations to implement improvements for accuracy and compliance
- Oversees the production of financial statements and regulatory reporting while ensuring adherence to relevant laws and regulations
- Builds and leads a competent accounting team, managing personnel actions and developing team capabilities
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting required; Master's degree preferred
- CPA or CMA certification preferred
- 15+ years of experience in corporate accounting/finance, with 7+ years in management roles
- Experience producing financial statements for audited financials and overseeing accounting functions for large companies
- Thorough knowledge of GAAP and accounting software, with expert skills in MS Office and ERP systems
