Vice President of AI Architecture
Job Summary
Driving the company-wide AI architecture and roadmap, the full-time remote Vice President of AI Architecture will define modern AI systems, establish shared interfaces, and guide implementation while collaborating with engineering leaders and business units.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and drive the AI architecture and roadmap across the organization, establishing common technical foundations
- Design and build full-stack AI systems, developing prototypes and production reference implementations
- Architect production AI systems for performance and scalability, guiding deployment choices across cloud and edge environments
Required Qualifications
- BS, MS, or PhD in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 10+ years of experience in software architecture, systems engineering, or AI engineering with senior technical leadership
- A proven record of designing and delivering production AI systems, including generative or agentic applications
- Strong foundations in distributed systems, software design, APIs, and performance engineering
- Practical experience with model integration and evaluation, including deployment and operation of AI systems at scale
