Vice President of Data Center Operations
Job Summary
To lead the global operations platform for a next-generation hyperscale data center portfolio, the full-time remote Vice President of Data Center Operations will develop operational strategies, establish governance models, and drive initiatives focused on reliability, efficiency, and customer experience.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute long-term operations strategies for hyperscale data center facilities
- Build and lead a high-performing operations organization responsible for critical infrastructure and operational readiness
- Establish operational standards and performance management systems to ensure excellence across all sites
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Construction Management, or a related technical field
- 20+ years of experience in mission-critical infrastructure or data center operations
- 10+ years of executive leadership experience managing multi-site operations
- Demonstrated success in operating hyperscale data centers supporting cloud or AI environments
- Strong knowledge of reliability engineering methodologies and critical infrastructure systems
