Vice President of Engineering

Job Summary

Leading the strategy and execution for core service and development platforms, the full-time remote Vice President of Engineering will build secure, reliable, and scalable foundations while managing operations and developing a high-performing team to drive impactful results.

Key responsibilities

• Continuously evolve and execute the Platform Engineering vision, aligning it with company strategy and customer needs
• Lead multi-year changes to the engineering architecture and operating model, enhancing reliability, security, and developer effectiveness
• Establish clear, quantifiable outcomes and operating mechanisms that expose progress and business impact across the organization

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 7 years in a leadership role, preferably in IaaS, SaaS, and cybersecurity
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related fields, or equivalent work experience
• Proven track record of establishing full-lifecycle ownership for critical platforms and services
• Strong business and technical acumen in systems and software engineering
• Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills with experience in leading multi-year transformational initiatives
