Job Summary
Leading a team of over 20 engineers, the full-time Vice President of Engineering will oversee the development and operation of products, manage customer migrations to Omatic Cloud, and drive structural changes within the engineering organization, all while working remotely with quarterly on-site commitments in Charleston, SC.
Key responsibilities
- Establish outcome-focused teams with clear charters and metrics
- Implement reliability practices, including SLOs and a sustainable on-call rotation
- Collaborate with Product teams to ensure predictable roadmap delivery and customer migrations
Required qualifications
- Experience as a senior engineering leader managing 15 to 50 people, ideally in a software company
- Proven ability to lead teams through structural changes and hire senior talent
- Track record of managing production for a multi-tenant SaaS platform
- Experience with integration products at scale, including ETL pipelines and data synchronization
- Ability to report engineering capacity and delivery metrics to executives or a board
