Job Summary

Leading financial operations for a mission-driven organization, the full-time Vice President of Finance will manage compliance, reporting, and strategic financial planning while overseeing a team and optimizing financial systems in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee financial administration, ensuring accuracy and compliance across multiple entities
• Manage the monthly close process and develop reporting frameworks for various stakeholders
• Lead annual budget planning and ensure alignment with grants management systems

Required qualifications

• Proven experience in managing financial operations within a nonprofit or mission-driven context
• Deep knowledge of nonprofit finance, including GAAP and multi-entity structures
• Experience leading and developing teams with a focus on accountability and continuous learning
• Familiarity with grants management operations and compliance
• Proficiency with modern financial systems, preferably Sage Intacct
