Vice President of Finance

Job Summary

To support strategic financial leadership, the full-time remote Vice President of Finance will manage the finance function, including accounting operations, treasury, payroll, and financial reporting, while serving as a key advisor to the CEO and private equity sponsor.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic financial advisor to the CEO and private equity sponsor, leading budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning
• Direct the monthly close process, ensuring GAAP compliance and audit readiness while overseeing cash management and payroll processing
• Manage a team of three finance professionals, setting goals and maintaining high standards for financial operations and reporting

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, preferably in distribution, eCommerce, or industrial products
• Prior experience as VP Finance, Controller, or Assistant Controller, with a strong preference for private equity-backed company experience
• Proficiency in ERP systems, particularly Microsoft Dynamics, and experience with financial modeling and KPI dashboard development
• Strong foundation in GAAP and advanced Excel capabilities
• Experience managing small accounting teams and familiarity with tools like Paycom, Bill.com, and Avalara is a plus
