Vice President of Fulfillment Planning

Job Summary

Leading the end-to-end process of translating customer demand into operational readiness, the full-time remote Vice President of Fulfillment Planning will own the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, ensuring effective resource deployment and performance tracking across the fulfillment network.

Key responsibilities

• Own Stord's S&OP process, creating a unified operating view of customer demand and necessary resources
• Translate demand into a comprehensive workforce plan and partner with Operations to ensure staffing and training align with forecasted needs
• Manage operational readiness by coordinating requirements across various teams, including equipment, facilities, procurement, and training

Required qualifications

• Significant experience in S&OP, workforce planning, or capacity planning within complex fulfillment or logistics networks
• Deep understanding of how order forecasts impact labor hours, productivity, and operational capacity
• Proven track record in dynamic environments where demand shifts rapidly and planning decisions have immediate consequences
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to challenge assumptions and focus on operational effectiveness
• Exceptional cross-functional program management skills, driving accountability and structure across multiple teams
