Vice President of Information Security

Job Summary

Leading enterprise cybersecurity and infrastructure initiatives, the full-time salaried Vice President of Information Security will manage risk, establish governance policies, and ensure a secure technology environment while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with executive leadership to define and execute multi-year cybersecurity and infrastructure strategies aligned with institutional goals
• Serve as the senior executive authority for enterprise cybersecurity risk, advising on material threats and regulatory exposure
• Own the enterprise cybersecurity program and governance framework, ensuring compliance and effective risk management

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, cybersecurity, computer science, or a related discipline
• 15+ years of progressive technology and cybersecurity leadership experience, including 7 years in enterprise infrastructure and cybersecurity functions
• Demonstrated success in a senior security executive role with accountability for cybersecurity strategy and governance
• Deep knowledge of NIST Cybersecurity Framework 2.0 and experience in developing cybersecurity strategies and risk management plans
• CISSP or CISM certification required; additional certifications such as CRISC or CCSP preferred
