Vice President of Information Security

Job Summary

Leading the company's security initiatives, the full-time Vice President of Information Security will own the information security strategy, operations, governance, and budget while working remotely to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and manage relationships with key stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Own and align Stellar's enterprise security strategy with business objectives and regulatory obligations
• Provide regular reporting on risk postures, program maturity, and emerging threats to executive leadership
• Lead the evolution of the threat-based risk model and manage incident response and business continuity readiness

Required qualifications

• 13+ years of experience in information security, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
• Deep expertise in healthcare security, including HIPAA and HITRUST compliance
• Proven experience with threat-based or risk-based security frameworks
• Strong executive presence and ability to influence stakeholders and present to boards
• Experience managing security in SaaS-first, cloud-native environments, preferably AWS
