Vice President of IT Security

Job Summary

Leading the corporate information technology and security strategy, the full-time salaried Vice President of IT Security will oversee enterprise IT operations, cybersecurity programs, and data governance while operating in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own and align multi-year technology, cybersecurity, and data protection infrastructure roadmaps with corporate growth and risk tolerances
• Manage a team of Information Security experts to implement comprehensive security programs and ensure continuous compliance with industry standards
• Develop and maintain strategic partnerships across departments to facilitate secure and efficient operational practices

Required qualifications

• Proven track record leading both enterprise IT operations and corporate cybersecurity/compliance programs
• At least 8 years of progressive experience in IT and/or Information Security, with 5+ years in senior leadership roles within B2B software/SaaS organizations
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field; advanced degrees preferred
• Experience with AI-enabled business transformations and managing technical infrastructure and data security posture
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CRISC are preferred
