Key responsibilities
- Own and oversee the legal function, setting strategy and standards for legal work
- Build, manage, and mentor the legal team, including hiring and professional development
- Lead negotiation of customer contracts and advise on data privacy and intellectual property matters
Required qualifications
- J.D. and active bar membership in good standing
- 10 years of legal experience, preferably in-house at a B2B SaaS or tech enterprise
- Proven track record of leading and mentoring in-house legal teams
- Deep expertise in data privacy and security law, including regulatory compliance
- Strong experience negotiating enterprise SaaS customer contracts
