Vice President of Payer Relations

Job Summary

Providing executive leadership for national payer engagement and contracting strategies, the remote Vice President of Payer Relations will manage a team focused on enhancing patient access and strategic partnerships across pharmacy business segments while driving profitable growth and innovative value-based arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute enterprise payer relationship and contracting strategies across all pharmacy business segments
• Lead and mentor Senior Directors responsible for regional and national payer partnerships
• Oversee medical benefit contracting activities and negotiate high-value agreements with national and regional health plans

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in healthcare payer contracting, market access, managed care, or healthcare strategy
• 5+ years of progressive leadership experience managing senior leaders and large-scale payer organizations
• Extensive experience negotiating complex pharmacy and medical benefit agreements
• Deep understanding of Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, and Government reimbursement models
• Proven track record of delivering significant revenue growth and value creation
