Vice President of Pharmacovigilance
Job Summary
Leading the pharmacovigilance function, the full-time Vice President of Pharmacovigilance will develop and implement safety processes, oversee cross-functional governance, and ensure compliance with global regulations in a remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement pharmacovigilance processes, policies, and safety database systems
- Lead benefit-risk assessments, signal detection, and risk management efforts across the organization
- Oversee safety data exchange with partners and provide regulatory oversight for filings and safety reviews
Required qualifications
- MD with clinical and industry experience in pharmacovigilance
- Minimum of 15 years' experience in drug safety roles within the biotech or pharmaceutical industry
- Proven leadership experience in building and leading high-performing teams
- In-depth knowledge of global pharmacovigilance regulations (EMA/FDA/ICH)
- Strong strategic decision-making abilities related to safety initiatives and regulatory compliance
