Job Summary
Overseeing the management and performance of the bank's commercial loan portfolio, the full-time salaried Vice President of Portfolio Management will lead a team of credit and portfolio professionals while ensuring high-quality portfolio administration, risk management, and client relationship support.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Portfolio Managers while fostering a collaborative, performance-driven culture
- Manage a diverse portfolio of commercial loans, ensuring ongoing monitoring for credit quality and compliance with bank policies
- Oversee preparation of annual reviews and risk rating analysis, participating in credit approval discussions to assess portfolio impact
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in commercial credit and loan portfolio management within a financial institution
- 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience required
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- Credit Risk Certification (CRC), RMA designation, or equivalent preferred
- Strong understanding of commercial loan structures and regulatory compliance
