Vice President of Preconstruction
Job Summary
Leading preconstruction and estimating functions for a dynamic pipeline of DG/C&I solar projects, the full-time Vice President of Preconstruction will manage bid packages, oversee internal team transitions, and collaborate on contract negotiations while establishing efficient internal processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed bid packages and manage full RFP cycles, including vendor coordination and bid reviews
- Lead all estimating efforts across conceptual, schematic, and construction stages
- Develop and maintain pricing benchmarks and prequalification procedures for contractors and vendors
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years in construction with experience in preconstruction, EPC RFPs, and estimating
- Proficiency in construction tools such as MS Project, Primavera P6, and Bluebeam
- Demonstrated ability to build processes and tools from the ground up
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently
- Experience collaborating across cross-functional teams
