Job Summary
Leading the enterprise privacy and AI governance strategy, the full-time Vice President of Privacy Governance will oversee the privacy team, establish scalable programs, and advise cross-functional leaders on privacy and regulatory risks while working remotely or in a hybrid capacity with a preference for East Coast candidates.
Key responsibilities
- Set and lead the enterprise privacy strategy, establishing necessary policies and governance across brands and legal entities
- Own and evolve the AI governance program, creating frameworks for risk classification and compliance
- Serve as the senior advisor on privacy and AI governance for high-risk products and technologies, guiding business leaders in risk evaluation
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in privacy, data protection, regulatory compliance, or technology law
- Expertise in U.S. privacy and data protection requirements within a multi-business organization
- Experience in setting strategy and advising senior leaders on privacy and technology-related risks
- Proven track record in building and overseeing formal privacy governance programs
- Strong understanding of marketing and consumer communications compliance requirements
