Vice President of Quality Control

Job Summary

To enhance the company's quality control framework, the fully remote Vice President of Quality Control will oversee the quality control program, manage audits, and collaborate with various teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the quality control program, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
• Lead pre-funding and post-closing loan audits to identify deficiencies and recommend corrective actions
• Prepare quality control reports and communicate findings and performance metrics to senior leadership

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in mortgage lending, quality control, or loan auditing
• Previous leadership experience in managing mortgage quality control teams
• Extensive knowledge of mortgage regulations and underwriting standards
• Experience in developing and implementing quality control policies and procedures
• Proven ability to analyze audit findings and recommend process improvements
