Job Summary
Driving innovation in AI-assisted software development, the full-time salaried Vice President of Research & Development will manage a diverse team to enhance product capabilities, ensure timely project delivery, and establish responsible AI practices across K12 finance and administrative workflows in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Translate business goals into actionable development plans, prioritizing an AI roadmap for products
- Ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery of development projects using AI-assisted methodologies
- Lead the adoption of AI developer tools and establish standards for their use across the team
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of management experience leading software development teams
- Hands-on familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and experience delivering AI capabilities in production
- P&L experience and portfolio management of multiple products and tech stacks
- Expertise in agile methodologies
- Experience in public sector or K12 solutions is preferred
