Vice President of Revenue Integrity

Job Summary

Leading the Revenue Recovery products under the Denials umbrella, the full-time remote Vice President of Revenue Integrity will oversee DRG & DRGV denials, ensure clinical coding integrity, and drive operational performance while collaborating with senior leadership to achieve strategic goals.

Key responsibilities

• Acts as a subject matter expert in Revenue Integrity products and establishes departmental goals and key performance indicators
• Oversees the development of quality metrics and collaborates cross-functionally to guide corporate planning and resource allocation
• Responsible for hiring, training, and performance management of staff while ensuring adherence to regulatory compliance and operational best practices

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health information management, Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field required; Master's degree preferred
• Active Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), RHIT, or RHIA strongly preferred
• 7-10 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare reimbursement, with 5+ years in clinical denials or inpatient claims environments
• Strong understanding of inpatient coding, DRG reimbursement methodology, and payer guidelines
• Demonstrated ability to operate effectively at both strategic and operational levels
