Vice President of Robotics Research

Job Summary

Leading a team of Robotics Researchers, the full-time Vice President of Robotics Research will define and execute research strategies for robotics data and robot learning while building scalable data pipelines and mentoring exceptional talent in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the research strategy for robotics data and embodied AI
• Lead initiatives focused on robotics datasets, multimodal representations, and data-centric learning
• Build and mentor a team of Robotics Researchers, fostering a culture of scientific rigor and rapid experimentation

Required qualifications

• Significant experience in robotics research, embodied AI, or robotics software engineering
• Experience leading or mentoring high-performing technical or research teams
• Deep understanding of robotics data pipelines and multimodal datasets
• Strong expertise in robot perception, manipulation, and learning methodologies
• Ability to bridge research and engineering to translate ideas into scalable systems
