Vice President of Security

Job Summary

To redefine security in an AI-native environment, the full-time salaried Vice President of Security will lead the development of AI security functions, oversee security engineering operations, and manage corporate IT, all while ensuring compliance and trust for enterprise customers.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and lead the AI security function, including the development of an internal AI gateway and agent identity model
• Direct security engineering efforts across AppSec, SecOps, and CloudSec, driving the security roadmap and team growth
• Manage enterprise trust and compliance initiatives, including SOC 2 and PCI controls, while facilitating security reviews for enterprise sales

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in security, with at least 5 years in leadership roles, preferably during periods of hypergrowth
• Strong technical expertise in AI security, cloud-native security, and modern AppSec tooling
• Proven ability to build new security functions from the ground up, not just manage existing ones
• Experience with corporate IT management, including identity platforms and SaaS governance
• Exceptional executive presence, capable of engaging with boards and enterprise customers effectively
