Vice President of Security

Job Summary

Leading the charge in AI security, the full-time salaried Vice President of Security will develop and manage security strategies, engineering, and operations while ensuring a robust security posture in a fast-paced, AI-driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and lead the AI security function, including building an internal AI gateway and implementing robust security measures for AI usage
• Oversee security engineering teams, driving initiatives in application security, cloud security, and operational security
• Manage enterprise trust and readiness for fundraising, ensuring compliance with SOC 2 and PCI standards while facilitating customer security reviews

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in security, with at least 5 years in leadership roles during periods of hypergrowth
• Strong technical expertise in AI security, cloud-native security, and security engineering practices
• Proven track record of building new security functions from the ground up
• Experience managing corporate IT functions as part of the security mission
• Ability to communicate effectively with executives and stakeholders, presenting security strategies and alternatives clearly
