Vice President of Security

Job Summary

To define and advance security in an AI-native environment, the full-time salaried Vice President of Security will manage AI security initiatives, oversee security engineering and operations, and ensure enterprise trust while collaborating with executive leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and lead the AI security function, including implementing an internal AI gateway and enhancing consumer-facing AI security measures
• Direct security engineering efforts across AppSec, SecOps, and CloudSec, ensuring secure design and compliance with technical controls
• Manage enterprise trust initiatives for fundraising and customer security reviews, while overseeing corporate IT security and identity management

Required qualifications

• 12+ years in security with at least 5 years in leadership roles, preferably during hypergrowth or major funding processes
• Strong technical expertise in AI security, cloud-native security, and security engineering practices
• Proven experience in building new security functions and teams from the ground up
• Executive presence with the ability to engage with boards and enterprise customers effectively
• Familiarity with compliance and regulatory frameworks relevant to security and privacy
