Vice President of Security

Job Summary

To lead security initiatives in an AI-native environment, the full-time salaried Vice President of Security will manage AI security, security engineering, and operations security while representing security interests to the executive team and enterprise customers.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and lead the AI security function, including the development of an internal AI gateway and agent identity management
• Oversee security engineering teams, driving secure design practices and enhancing detection engineering across the organization
• Manage enterprise trust initiatives, including security diligence for fundraising and customer security reviews, while ensuring compliance with SOC 2 and PCI standards

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in security with at least 5 years in leadership roles, preferably during periods of hypergrowth
• Strong technical expertise in cloud-native security, including AWS identity management and modern AppSec tooling
• Proven ability to build new security functions from the ground up, with a focus on AI security challenges
• Experience in managing corporate IT functions as part of the overall security strategy
• Executive presence with the ability to communicate effectively with boards and enterprise customers
