Vice President of Security

Job Summary

To lead security initiatives in an AI-native environment, the full-time salaried Vice President of Security will manage AI security functions, oversee security engineering, and enhance operational security while reporting directly to the SVP of Engineering and AI.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and lead the AI security function, including the development of an internal AI gateway and agent identity models
• Direct security engineering efforts across AppSec, SecOps, and CloudSec, ensuring secure design and automated response playbooks
• Manage enterprise trust initiatives and compliance with SOC 2 and PCI, while overseeing corporate IT functions related to identity and endpoint security

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in security, with at least 5 years in leadership roles during periods of hypergrowth
• Strong technical expertise in cloud-native security and AI security challenges
• Proven experience building new security functions from the ground up
• Ability to communicate effectively with executive leadership and enterprise customers
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks and regulatory requirements related to security
