Vice President of Security

Job Summary

To lead the security strategy and operations in an AI-native environment, the full-time salaried Vice President of Security will build and manage the AI security function, oversee security engineering, and ensure enterprise trust while collaborating closely with senior leadership and engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and manage the AI security function, including internal AI gateway and agent identity model enforcement
• Lead security engineering efforts, driving secure design, detection engineering, and automated response playbooks
• Oversee operations security, ensuring compliance and trust artifacts that facilitate enterprise sales and fundraising diligence

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in security, with 5+ years in leadership roles through hypergrowth and fundraising processes
• Deep technical expertise in AI security, cloud-native security, and modern AppSec tooling
• Proven experience building new security functions from the ground up
• Strong executive presence with the ability to engage with boards and enterprise customers
• Comfortable managing corporate IT functions as part of the security mission
