Vice President of Security

Job Summary

Leading the charge in AI security, the full-time salaried Vice President of Security will develop and manage comprehensive security strategies, engineering, and operations while ensuring trust and compliance as the company navigates its AI-driven future.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and lead the AI security function, including the development of an internal AI gateway and robust identity management
• Oversee security engineering efforts, including AppSec, SecOps, and CloudSec, while driving the implementation of secure design principles and automated response protocols
• Manage enterprise trust initiatives and security operations to support fundraising diligence and enhance customer security reviews

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in security, with at least 5 years in leadership roles during periods of hypergrowth
• Strong technical expertise in AI security, cloud-native security, and modern AppSec tooling
• Proven experience in building new security functions from the ground up
• Executive presence with the ability to engage with boards and enterprise customers effectively
• Familiarity with corporate IT governance, including identity platforms and SaaS administration
