Vice President of Security

Job Summary

Leading the security strategy and execution across product, corporate, and information security, the full-time Vice President of Security will manage a multidisciplinary security organization while advising executive leadership and the Board on security posture and risk in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the security strategy, operating model, budget, and investment priorities for the organization
• Lead the security response for serious incidents and oversee compliance and assurance programs, including SOC 1, SOC 2, and ISO certifications
• Build and develop a strong leadership team through hiring, coaching, and succession planning

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in security, including 5+ years in a leadership role within a multidisciplinary security organization
• Proven experience owning an end-to-end security program and scaling security operations in a B2B SaaS or consumer technology environment
• Experience with security operations, cloud security, product security, and risk compliance
• Familiarity with external audits and leading compliance programs such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001
• Experience securing cloud environments and working with modern identity standards and platforms
