Seeking a full-time remote Video Editor, the ideal candidate will independently source materials and create engaging short-form videos that prioritize storytelling and audience retention.

Key responsibilities

• Independently source and select dynamic footage, including stock, B-roll, and references, to create compelling video content
• Edit videos with a focus on pacing and narrative meaning, ensuring strong audience engagement from the start
• Produce short-form content for platforms such as Reels, Shorts, and TikTok, incorporating captions, motion graphics, and transitions

Required qualifications

• Strong understanding of dynamic editing techniques, including pacing and hooks
• Experience with creating short-form video content for social media platforms
• Ability to add captions, basic motion graphics, and transitions effectively
• Proficiency in sourcing and selecting relevant footage independently
• Familiarity with AI tools for generating or sourcing visuals is a plus
