To support a growing videogame studio, the full-time remote Videogame Studio Accountant will manage accounting tasks, oversee bookkeeping processes, and provide operational support while collaborating with a creative team.
Key responsibilities
- Present accounting reports and financial forecasts to support management planning and data-driven decisions
- Handle QuickBooks categorization, bank reconciliation, and ensure compliance with tax regulations
- Assist in recruiting efforts by pre-screening applicants and coordinating interview schedules
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in a small-business accounting role
- Proficient in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Understanding of government filing and tax rules, as well as employment and payroll regulations
- Enthusiastic about videogames and knowledgeable about the videogame industry
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to adapt to changing job requirements
