Job Summary

To support a diverse range of ambulatory specialties, the remote Coding Specialist 3 will leverage advanced coding expertise to ensure accurate code assignment and compliance while collaborating with clinical teams in a highly respected healthcare environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform detailed review and assignment of CPT, ICD-10-CM, modifiers, and E/M services for physician billing
• Analyze clinical documentation to accurately identify services performed and link diagnoses to procedures
• Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to promote coding excellence and compliant reimbursement practices

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 5+ years of relevant outpatient coding experience required
• Specialty focus in areas such as Pulmonology, Hematology/Oncology, and Endocrinology strongly preferred
• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification required
