Job Summary
To support the Online Master of Accounting (MAcc) and Online MBA programs, the part-time Virginia Licensed Accounting Instructor will lead asynchronous course sections, facilitate student engagement, provide timely feedback, and monitor academic progress remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Facilitate course sections by posting announcements, engaging in discussions, and offering virtual office hours
- Grade assignments and provide substantive feedback within specified timelines
- Monitor student progress and communicate with faculty regarding at-risk students
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in accounting or a closely related field
- Significant expertise in accounting topics such as financial accounting and taxation
- Experience providing instruction to adult learners in academic or corporate settings
- Demonstrated excellence in digital communication and collaboration
