Job Summary

To support the Online Master of Accounting (MAcc) and Online MBA programs, the part-time Virginia Licensed Accounting Instructor will lead asynchronous course sections, facilitate student engagement, provide timely feedback, and monitor academic progress remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate course sections by posting announcements, engaging in discussions, and offering virtual office hours
• Grade assignments and provide substantive feedback within specified timelines
• Monitor student progress and communicate with faculty regarding at-risk students

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in accounting or a closely related field
• Significant expertise in accounting topics such as financial accounting and taxation
• Experience providing instruction to adult learners in academic or corporate settings
• Demonstrated excellence in digital communication and collaboration
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment for diverse students
