Virginia Licensed Adjunct Professor

Job Summary

To support the Online Master of Legal Studies program, a Virginia Licensed Adjunct Professor will design and teach courses, facilitate course activities, and provide timely feedback to students in a part-time remote position.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare syllabi and course modules with support from Instructional Designers
• Grade assignments and exams, ensuring timely feedback and communication with students
• Maintain open communication with faculty and staff, responding to inquiries within 24 hours

Required qualifications

• Master's degree, Juris Doctor, or equivalent graduate degree in a relevant discipline
• Expertise in general law education or specialized areas such as compliance, finance, environmental, healthcare, or technology law
• Previous experience instructing adult learners in academic or corporate settings
• Demonstrated communication and collaboration skills
