Job Summary
Bringing extensive expertise in legacy systems and cloud architecture, the full-time Virginia Licensed Application Architect will design innovative software frameworks, guide development teams, and document architecture while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Define and prioritize modernization roadmaps for mainframe applications, considering cost and risk
- Design cutting-edge software frameworks and systems, ensuring industry standards are met
- Provide technical leadership to application development teams and maintain documentation of software architecture
Required qualifications
- Architectural experience in large customer change and transformation projects
- In-depth knowledge of hardware and software, including connectivity between platforms
- Experience with mainframe modernization projects, including Modernize On, Integrate With, and Move Off
- Strong understanding of z/OS and IBM Software Products, as well as third-party mainframe software
- Master Certified Architect (or equivalent) preferred
