Leading audit engagements primarily for nonprofit organizations, the full-time Virginia Licensed Audit Supervisor will manage projects from planning through completion, supervise and mentor junior staff, and ensure compliance with GAAP and auditing standards in a remote and flexible work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage audit engagements from planning through completion for nonprofit organizations
- Supervise, train, and mentor Audit Associates and Seniors
- Review audit workpapers, financial statements, and supporting documentation for accuracy and compliance
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of public accounting external audit experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- CPA license or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam
- Strong understanding of GAAP and auditing standards
- Experience leading audit engagements and reviewing staff work
