Job Summary
To support innovative renewable energy and structural design projects, the full-time Virginia Licensed Civil Engineer will design steel piles and connections, develop concrete slab designs, and assist in project management activities, with remote work options available.
Key responsibilities
- Design steel piles and connections for various structural applications
- Develop cast-in-place concrete slab designs and support project management activities
- Contribute to marketing efforts and proposal development related to renewable energy projects
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 2+ years of experience in solar structure design
- Proficiency in structural design software, including LPile, Mathcad, and Excel
- Experience using AutoCAD for plan development
- PE License is a plus
