Virginia Licensed Counselor
Job Summary
To support a mission focused on children's success, multiple Virginia Licensed Counselors or Social Workers will build part-time or full-time caseloads working remotely with virtual charter school students in individual and group sessions via Zoom.
Key responsibilities
- Providing Behavioral Support Services and mentoring students on self-regulation and organizational skills
- Driving student achievement for students with disabilities and developing effective IEPs
- Responding to progress monitoring results and supporting students, parents, and general education staff
Required qualifications
- Virginia Department of Health School Social Work License, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or equivalent Virginia Department of Education license
- Experience working with students on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Possession of (or willingness to obtain) up-to-date clearances
- Proof of individual professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain)
