Job Summary
Providing specialized imaging interpretations for a busy Level 1 Trauma Center, the Virginia Licensed Emergency Radiologist will work full-time or part-time in onsite, hybrid, or remote arrangements, focusing on conventional radiographs, CT, and occasional US and MR imaging.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality sub-specialized imaging interpretations for plain film radiographs and CTs across various modalities, including Chest, Cardiac, Abdomen, MSK, and Neuroradiology
- Provide training and education to medical students, residents, and fellows rotating through the Department of Radiology
- Collaborate with referring physicians to support patient care within the VCU Health System
Required qualifications:
- ABR certified or passed the Core Component of the ABR Board Examination
- Fellowship trained or experienced in Emergency Radiology or General Radiology
- Current license to practice medicine in Virginia or eligibility for licensure
- Eligibility for permanent employment in the USA
- Special interest or skills in acute care imaging, oncology, and transplantation are beneficial
