Offering flexible scheduling options, the Virginia Licensed Hospice Veterinarian will provide compassionate in-home end-of-life care and euthanasia for pets, working full-time or part-time with a focus on meaningful interactions and client support.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver gentle hospice and in-home euthanasia care to pets and their families
- Manage a self-scheduled workload with a limited number of appointments per day
- Provide emotional support and guidance to pet owners during difficult times
Required qualifications:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
- Valid U.S. Driver's License
- Ability to lift up to 45 lbs unassisted and up to 90 lbs with assistance
- Completion of license verification, background check, and driving record review prior to start date
