Job Summary
As the Clinical Coding Coordinator (Lead Coder) for Hospital Inpatient Coding, this fully remote position will serve as the primary subject matter expert and quality resource, focusing on auditing, education, and providing guidance for complex inpatient coding cases to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Key responsibilities:
- Serve as the lead resource for complex inpatient coding questions and provide quality oversight
- Conduct coding audits and reviews to maintain coding excellence and identify accuracy improvements
- Educate and mentor coding professionals while supporting data integrity related to reimbursement and quality measures
Required qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 5+ years of relevant coding experience required
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification required
