Virginia Licensed Lead Network Architect

Job Summary

Leading advanced technical initiatives, the full-time Virginia Licensed Lead Network Architect will provide enterprise network architecture support, manage high-severity incident resolution, and interface with external partners while working in a hybrid environment that includes both remote and onsite responsibilities in Northern Virginia.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for enterprise network architecture, ensuring design and operational excellence across LAN, WAN, and wireless environments
• Lead troubleshooting efforts for high-severity network incidents, coordinating rapid restoration of mission-critical services
• Collaborate with external partners to ensure secure and reliable network connectivity while optimizing network architecture for performance and scalability

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Network Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in network engineering or architecture roles
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification required; CCIE or equivalent advanced certification preferred
• Proven expertise in advanced network troubleshooting and incident resolution for high-severity incidents
• Experience designing and supporting enterprise network architectures, including load balancing and security principles
