Virginia Licensed Legal Counsel

Job Summary

To support the IST Division in North America, a temporary Virginia Licensed Legal Counsel will manage sales and purchasing transactions, provide legal advisory services, and oversee litigation and compliance matters, with the flexibility to work in a hybrid setting or remotely for approximately six months, with potential for extension.

Key responsibilities

• Review, draft, negotiate, and process a variety of commercial agreements and bid documents
• Advise senior leadership on litigation risks, regulatory compliance, and contract performance
• Support corporate activities, including insurance management and corporate secretarial work

Required qualifications

• 4-8 years of business transactional work experience in the tech industry, preferably in Fintech or ICT
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited U.S. law school
• Active and in good standing with at least one state's bar association
• Strong track record in negotiating and drafting complex business agreements
• Solid understanding of litigation, intellectual property, employment, and data privacy laws
