Virginia Licensed Math Teacher

Job Summary

Engaging students through live, on-camera instruction, the full-time Virginia Licensed Math Teacher will deliver personalized math education for grades 6-12 in a remote environment, utilizing student performance data to enhance learning outcomes and foster meaningful relationships with students and families.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver live, synchronous instruction for five or more hours daily, creating an engaging virtual classroom experience
• Utilize student performance data to personalize instruction and adapt teaching methods to meet individual learning needs
• Provide timely feedback on student work and maintain accurate records to keep students and families informed

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field and an active state teaching license with an endorsement in Mathematics for grades 6-12 in Virginia or Indiana
• Experience teaching in virtual and/or in-person settings, with comfort in managing a live online classroom
• Hands-on experience with online learning platforms and virtual instruction tools
• Ability to read and utilize student performance data to inform instructional adjustments
• Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage a full student caseload independently in a remote setting
