Virginia Licensed Mental Health Therapist
Job Summary
To support a growing virtual healthcare organization, a Virginia Licensed Mental Health Therapist will provide evidence-based therapy to children, adolescents, and adults as a fully remote 1099 Independent Contractor, collaborating with clinical leadership and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated care.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with client goals
- Provide evidence-based individual and family therapy using modalities such as CBT and DBT
- Collaborate with primary care physicians and other healthcare professionals to communicate treatment plans and monitor client progress
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in social work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field
- Active independent clinical licensure in Virginia, Maryland, or Washington, DC
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience providing therapy to youth and adults
- Experience providing telehealth services
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities and interventions
