Job Summary

Leading enterprise network architecture initiatives, the full-time Virginia Licensed Network Architect will provide advanced technical leadership in designing and optimizing LAN, WAN, and wireless environments while also managing high-severity network incident resolutions in a hybrid work setting.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical leadership for enterprise network architecture, ensuring scalability and operational excellence
• Lead troubleshooting and resolution efforts for high-severity network incidents, coordinating response actions during major events
• Interface with external partners to support secure connectivity and design optimized network architectures aligned with federal standards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Network Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• 10-14 years of experience in network engineering or network architecture roles
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification required; CCIE or equivalent preferred
• Demonstrated expertise in advanced network troubleshooting and incident resolution for high-severity incidents
• Hands-on experience with load balancing technologies and enterprise network infrastructure components
