Job Summary
To support a high-volume academic health system, the part-time Virginia Licensed Neuroradiologist will provide daytime, remote teleradiology interpretations of neuroimaging studies, focusing on CT, CTA, MR, and perfusion imaging, with a predictable 7 days on / 7 days off schedule and no overnight shifts.
Key responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, subspecialized neuroradiology interpretations during daytime shifts
- Communicate critical findings promptly to referring providers and participate in virtual consultations
- Meet established turnaround time, quality, and productivity standards while supporting inpatient, outpatient, and emergency services
Required qualifications
- Current license to practice medicine in Virginia or eligibility for licensure
- ABR certification or successful completion of the ABR Core Examination
- Fellowship training in Neuroradiology
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration in a virtual environment
- Demonstrated ability to foster a respectful and professional environment
