Job Summary
To support telecommunications projects, the full-time Virginia Licensed OSP Inspector will conduct field surveys, prepare site status reports, and ensure compliance with industry standards while working remotely and occasionally traveling to job sites.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct detailed client meetings to clarify project requirements and prepare site status reports
- Perform field surveys and engineering for proposed fiber routes, ensuring compliance with design characteristics and permitting
- Assist in developing new business opportunities and provide recommendations for improving operational efficiency
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Outside and Inside plant engineering, design, planning, maintenance, and installation
- Previous project planning, scheduling, and management experience is desired
- Bachelor's degree, technical college diploma, or equivalent years of experience
